<H2>The Story Behind the GloryBag</H2>

<P>Having loved to fish for most of my life, it was only natural that at some time I would be interested in Tournament fishing. I started fishing farm ponds and rivers for carp and bass with my father and my uncle and brother. However as I got older, my interests changed. I tried boxing for a while and enjoyed that, but I couldn’t smoke and drink and run with the ladies while trying to keep in shape, so I quit boxing.

<P>I was married at 16, and separated with a son by 18. Always hanging out in bars, drinking, fighting etc. And by 20 I was in prison for felonious assault. Being in prison didn’t change me much because I saw that the people locked up were doing the same things the Police were doing at work. I moved on through life and married again, but still made the wrong choices. However my wife, Judy stayed with me.

<P>I started fishing again, and got into Bass Tournaments. I won a fair amount and by the late 80’s got into nationals. Even appearing on ESPN in one tournament. My brother Jerry told me at one point that he could see I wasn’t happy with myself, but I didn’t know why.
<P>
<P>In the late 90’s the idea of the Glory Bag started forming in my mind. After working on it, I decided to try to find someone in the fishing industry to help promote it. I made an appointment with a fellow that I had met at “Bassarama” and made a trip to North Carolina to meet with him. However when I arrived, the first thing he wanted to do was talk about God. All I was thinking about was this bag and making a lot of money, so I listened to what he had to say, then told him what I had to say and left.

<P>One thing that stuck in my mind though as I was going home on I-95 was “if you were to die today do you know where your soul will spend eternity?” Well, I was sure I would go straight to Hell. But after thinking about it, I decided that wasn’t what I wanted, and I prayed to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
<P>
<P>Jesus has changed my life, and my way of thinking. Now my goals are different for this project. I want to make money on it, for sure, but souls being saved for Jesus is my first priority. He gives a purpose and direction for your life. That is why this story is being told in all the advertising for the Glory Bag. God not only changed my life, my marriage, and my way of thinking, God told me to tell others of the change He made in my life. And, how everyone can have the joy and peace of mind of knowing where your soul will spend eternity. There are two choices, Heaven or Hell.

<P>The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (things that separate you from God)
<P>
<P>Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death, and the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. (Spiritual death is separation from God, not physical death.)
<P>
<P>I Corinthians 15:3-4 says that Christ died for our sins according to Scripture, that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
<P>
<P>Romans 10:9 says That if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
<P>
<P>Prayer: Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that you died on the cross for my sins. I know that God raised you from the dead and now I can have eternal life. Jesus, I give my life to you, please come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. AMEN
<P>
